Marble Valley Academy Before/After School Policy, Fees & procedures

Marble Valley Academy offers before- and after-school day care for working parents/or need options for different pick-up and drop-off times. It is a program available for students 5 years old or older. The following procedures and fees apply to those needing this extra care. 

Payment Fees and Protocols;

AM School Care Fee: $10 a day/$200 a month. 

PM School Care Fee: 

$10 for 0-1 hour time

$15 for over 1 hour - 1.5 hours

$25 for 1.5 hours and over

After 5:30 p.m.-  $5 for first 5 minutes late. $5 per minute after that. 

Parents will be billed at the end of each month for the days of students’ attendance. This is drop-in care, and there is no need to schedule days of care needed. 

Parents can also be billed monthly in advance or for the semester. Please send your request for this care fee by emailing our Financial Director, Allison Moroso, at allison.moroso@mva-edh.org

Morning School Extra Care

  • Students needing or wishing to attend before school care in the morning can be dropped off at the back entrance of the school as early as 7:15 am. There is no adjustment for the fee regardless of drop-off time. You will need to sign your student in to Before School Care before leaving. Students will be watched by an MVA teacher from 7:15 - 8:10 am, at which time they will be released to go to their classroom. All other students should not arrive on campus until 8:10.

  • Students will be asked to do private study work during this time. 

  • Students are not allowed to leave the supervised area without permission.

*After-School Extra Care

  • Students needing or wishing to stay at school in the afternoon can stay until 5:30 pm.

  • Students will be watched by an after-school supervisor from 3:15-5:30 pm in an MVA classroom.

  • Students must be picked up at 5:30 pm sharp to avoid late fees. Students must be signed out by a parent or guardian. 

  • Students will be asked to do private study work during this time, combined with possible activities encouraged by the teacher.

  • Students are not allowed to leave the supervised area without permission.

*Any student who is not picked up within 15 minutes of their dismissal time is required to attend on-campus after-school care and will be sent directly to the After School Care classroom. Parents will need to pick up their student from the After School Care classroom through the back entrance of the school. Parents agree to pay established fees per the contract.
